ABOUT
Project Once is a non-profit organization created by New York City college students in the creative field, who wish to inspire and magnify the importance of the arts in low-income communities. This is where the arts are far from the inhabitants grasp. Through education, Project Once will incite in young minds an interest in visual arts by developing their skills in video, photography, and design.
OUR GOAL
Project Once Studios was established on the belief that the arts are a powerful agent of change and opportunity. The mission of the Project Once Studios is to provide students with informed, hands-on instruction in the practice of an array of performing and visual arts within the setting of an afterschool curriculum.
Through our arts programs, we aim to foster creativity, self-confidence, and self-discipline. The goal of each program is to inspire curiosity within careful observation and artistic exploration. Our performing and visual arts curriculum focuses on developmental consideration for each grade level (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) and is built upon the ideas of progressive learning, leadership, performance, and presentation.
